The Pretty Reckless Stream New EP
Head over to Billboard.com today for an exclusive preview of The Pretty Reckless' new EP. Featuring the rocking single "Make Me Wanna Die," the debut effort from Taylor Momsen and her band is a sampling of what's to come on their full-length album due out later this year.
Stream the four songs here before the June 22nd release and visit ThePrettyReckless.com for more info including Warped Tour 2010 dates.
Best-known for playing rebellious rocker girl Jenny Humphrey on "Gossip Girl," Taylor Momsen doesn't stray far from the punk sensibility on the self-titled ep from her new band, The Pretty Reckless. The four-track release doesn't come out until June 22, but you can hear the whole thing first right now, right here.
With a sound befitting her tv character, the ep by the real life Momsen's band sports tracks, like first single "Make Me Wanna Die," that have the requisite snarl and big guitars. The ferocious ep, whose single is already available at iTunes, kicks off a busy summer and fall for Momsen and her bandmates, guitarist/co-songwriter Ben Phillips, bassist Mark Damon and drummer Jamie Perkins. The band will be on the road with the Vans Warped Tour starting June 25 in Los Angeles and winding up Aug. 15 in Oregon, and a full-length Pretty Reckless album is due sometime later this year around the time that the leaves are changing color.
