President Barack Obama stops by The Daily Show on Wednesday (October 27) in Washington, D.C., to chat with Jon Stewart.

The sit-down interview was serious most of the time, with the economy and jobs the topics of discussion, but Jon tried his best to get a few laughs out of the Prez!

After Barack stated his administration has done things that “some folks don’t even know about,” Jon asked, “What have you done that we don’t know about? Are you planning a surprise party for us, filled with jobs and health care?”

When Jon called some of his legislation “timid,” Barack testily replied, “Jon, I love your show, but this is something where I have a profound disagreement with you.”

Ryan Gosling's New Boss: George Clooney!

George Clooney will direct and star in The Ides of March along with Ryan Gosling and Evan Rachel Wood!

The film, which will be the big screen adaption of the Broadway play Farragut North, starts shooting in February in Michigan and Ohio, according to Variety.

George will play a candidate running in the presidential primary race, with Ryan as a press spokesman and Evan as a campaign intern.

Marisa Tomei and Paul Giamatti also star in the flick.

Chris Evans suits up in head-to-toe red, white, and blue threads as super-soldier Captain America for the latest cover of Entertainment Weekly.

The 29-year-old actor worried about what would happen to his career if the movie flopped. "I've made some spotty films in the past (The Losers, Push), and I didn't want another one on this scale," says Chris. “I remember telling a buddy of mine, 'If the movie bombs, I'm f—ed. If the movie hits, I'm f—ed!'”

The studio also tested a number of actors for the role, reportedly including Channing Tatum (G.I. Joe), John Krasinski (The Office), and Ryan Phillippe (Crash).

Captain America: The First Avenger is due out July 22, about three months after the company's other major 2011 release, Thor, starring Chris Hemsworth.

"Yes, we are pregnant, this is true!" Mariah shared. “It’s been a long journey. It’s been tough because I've been trying to hold on to a shred of privacy.”

“The greatest gift on earth is a child,” Nick said in the interview. “We’ve had names picked out from the first day we met and we want to stay true to that.”

Both sequels to highest-grossing movie of all time will tie up James until December 2015, which has forced him to withdraw from the upcoming Cleopatra film with Angelina Jolie, according to Deadline.
