| Charlie Sheen Hospitalized After 'Medication Reaction' Posted: 26 Oct 2010 10:30 AM PDT  Charlie Sheen has been hospitalized in New York City after having an allergic reaction to medication. The actor’s rep said that he expects Charlie to be released Wednesday (October 27). However, a law enforcement official told the AP that Charlie was hospitalized for a psychiatric evaluation after police were informed that the 45-year-old actor had been throwing furniture around in his room at the Plaza Hotel around 2 a.m. on Tuesday morning. The official stressed that Charlie had not been arrested but checked himself into the hospital to be evaluated. |

The telepic centers around Amanda (pictured on the right), an American college student serving a 26-year jail sentence in Italy. Authorities have accused of killing her British roommate in 2007 while they were studying abroad. Also spotted on set: Italian actor Paolo Romio who plays Amanda’s boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito.
