Newly single Christina Aguilera attends the grand opening of Ian Schrager’s The Waikiki Edition hotel on Friday (October 15) in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The 29-year-old singer and Burlesque star, who split from husband Jordan Bratman, flew in from Los Angeles where she spent time with her son Max.

On Thursday, the two stopped by a pumpkin patch and went shopping at a Halloween store.

Singer Matt White (pictured with Taryn Manning) also attended the bash at the luxury resort.

Matt will also be performing at the Waikiki Edition tonight!

Hurts: 'Stay' Music Video Premiere!

Check out the music video by British synthpop duo Hurts for their latest single “Stay”.

The duo, consisting of 23-year-old singer Theo Hutchcraft and synth player Adam Anderson, have seen enormous popularity despite only recently signing a record deal last year.

“Stay” is the third single from their recently released album ‘Happiness’. The latest music video is powerfully artistic and shows off the beautiful landscape of Iceland, where the video was shot.

Yesterday, the band hit up Berlin for the Tribute to Bambi charity gala.

“Tonight we shall don the glad rags,” Theo tweeted prior to the event. “Parade around a little bit and perform for the stars at Tribute To Bambi. The Hurts Girls are in town…”

In recognition of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Saks had Donna Karan design the “Key to the Cure” shirt. 100% of the proceeds from each shirt sold will be donated to women cancer charities.

The 40-year-old Scottish stud helped kick off the Spartans’ basketball season and led the almost 15,000- strong crowd at Breslin Center in East Lansing, Michigan in a chant.

Gerard, who played a Spartan warrior king in 300, yelled out one of the film’s famous lines, “Spartans! What is your profession?’” to which the crowd responded, “Who, who, who!”

Paramount Pictures has reportedly been shopping around the idea of a Top Gun sequel (the original came out in 1986) with Tom Cruise possibly returning for a smaller role.

The studio has made offers to super producer Jerry Bruckheimer and director Tony Scott, while screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie is already locked in, according to NY Mag.

Tom is agreeing to the film “provided it’s not too ‘obvious’ a part, i.e. Lieutenant Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell as grizzled Top Gun flight instructor,” reports NY Mag’s Vulture.
