Jake Gyllenhaal: Turning 30 is Just The Beginning

Jake Gyllenhaal keeps it cool and casual as he arrives at LAX airport on Sunday (October 17).

The Love and Other Drugs actor recently shared that he’s got mixed feelings about turning 30 at the end of the year.

“Look guys, I’m not 30 yet!” Jake said, adding jokingly, “Can you cut it with the 30 comments?”

All kidding aside, though, “I feel more like myself. I feel like now, it’s just the beginning,” Jake said (via People). “I guess you get to a point at 30 or somewhere and you say, ‘What I am, is what I am and that’s what I’m going to be and that’s all good. I don’t need to be anything else.’ And that’s kind of how I feel.”

NBC stars Jason Ritter and Olivia Munn keep the audiences laughing at the 20th Annual Environmental Media Awards held at Warner Bros. Studios on Saturday (October 16) in Burbank, Calif.

The Daily Show’s Olivia wore a very “green” dress and sang a “Kanye meets Alanis” song about the environment, which was inspired by winners and nominees.

Best Feature Film was award to director James Cameron for Avatar, which beat out Fantastic Mr. Fox and The Kids Are All Right.

Jane Fonda even showed up to present ex-husband — and honore — Ted Turner with the Lifetime Achievement Award. (His foundation helps to preventing damage to the natural systems - water, air, and land.)

Former Supernatural actress Lauren Cohan has been cast as Mystic Falls’ newest vampire, Rose, who possibly catches Damon’s (Ian’s character) eye!

After the season wraps in April, Ian is headed to Africa and Central America with the Pew organization and Conservation International.

“Then I'm going to Washington for a Congressional Delegation that is going to be totally crazy,” he told the Los Angeles Times. “But I want to be able to get in front of Congress and explain the ideas that we have and how to go about them.”

The club-worthy track is the U.K.-born, New York-raised singer’s latest tune.

Though the 25-year-old only recently launched a singing career, she’s already an established songwriter who most recently worked with Jennifer Lopez.

She’s also written for artists including Estelle and Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester.

Wynter performed yesterday (October 16) and is slated to continue her tour with stops in Dallas and San Francisco for the next two weeks.

The 20-year-old country star recently revealed she has been in talks with the Glee camp and would be open to the idea of having her songs featured on the hit Fox show.

“There have been conversations,” she tells Zap2It. “And when those happen with all these new opportunities, it usually comes down to scheduling. I’m a huge fan of the show, and I think it showcases music in a great way, so I would be really excited if anything were to happen there.”

The renowned actress played June Cleaver, America’s quintessential beloved mom, on CBS/ABC’s classic television show Leave It to Beaver. The former Mrs. Cleaver went on to portray many roles, including appearances on Murphy Brown, Roseanne, and as the voice of Nanny on the animated television show Muppet Babies.

The 39-year-old actor has teamed up with comedian Jeff Beacher for David Arquette Presents: Beacher’s Madhouse inside Hollywood’s Roosevelt Hotel — the site of the first Academy Awards!

Check out the Cinegrill sign outside the famed hotel that was recently changed for the project’s fall 2010 opening.

Nightly shows will feature a variety of acts, including burlesque dancers, Go-Go girls, live animals, acrobats, contortionists and more!

“Beacher’s Madhouse will be the hottest, sexiest, most entertaining show, that feels like the greatest party anyone in Los Angeles has ever been to,” says Jeff.
