| Natalie Portman 'Black Swan' Premiere at Venice Film Festival! Posted: 01 Sep 2010 11:30 AM PDT  Natalie Portman is red hot at the Opening Ceremony of the 2010 Venice Film Festival at the Sala Grande Palazzo Del Cinema on Wednesday (September 1) in Venice, Italy. The event, which was also attended by her boyfriend Benjamin Millepied, was also the premiere of her new movie, Black Swan. Director Darren Aronofsky recently shared, “One of the best things about the film is the casting of Natalie. She took the part and ran with it. I don’t know if when I was working with the writers we were consciously channeling Natalie or Natalie somehow transformed herself to the part, but they grew together. I first talked with Natalie about this project at least 10 years ago. We were in Times Square and had a coffee at the old Howard Johnson. I had this idea of setting something in the ballet world. But before we get to that, here’s a list of people who were courted for the show but turned it down for a variety of reasons: – Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg, Sylvester Stallone, political commentator Ann Coulter, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, the real Erin Brockovich, billionaire Richard Branson, comic actor Tim Allen, former TV darling Suzanne Somers, reality star Kirstie Alley, Community star Joel McHale, and The Price Is Right host Drew Carey. Now, each contestant can earn up to $345,000 during the 10 weeks of airtime.
