| Alexis Bledel & Saoirse Ronan: 'Violet & Daisy' Assassins! Posted: 23 Sep 2010 10:30 AM PDT  Alexis Bledel will soon be Saoirse Ronan’s partner in crime! Alexis, 29, has signed on to star opposite Saoirse, 16, in the upcoming film Violet & Daisy about two teenage hitgirls, according to Variety. The film centers around the young assassins who are lured into what is supposed to be just another quick, easy job. They soon run into complications as the man they’re supposed to kill (James Gandolfini) is not what they expected. The movie will be the directorial debut of screenwriter Geoffrey Fletcher, who won an Oscar earlier this year for his work on Precious. |

Posted: 23 Sep 2010 10:10 AM PDT  Acting goddesses Kate Winslet and Jodie Foster will co-star in the Roman Polanski-directed movie God Of Carnage. According to Deadline, Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds) and Matt Dillon (Crash) will play their husbands in the adaptation of Yasmina Reza's Tony Award-winning play. Pic begins industriously enough, as two sets of parents meet to resolve a conflict that began on a school playground, when one child hit another child with a stick in the mouth. Immediately, the meeting devolves, and in a tight and loveless plot, vomiting, violence, fear, pain, and despair bubble up to alleviate any moments of humor with large doses of ache. Shooting begins in Paris in February! Polanski cannot enter the US due to allegations against him for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor in 1977. Yikes! |

Zana, 27, said that the the screenplay was “fabulous” and she could not wait to start shooting with such a “great actress and humanist” like Angie (she will serve as director, producer and screenwriter). Hungary and Bosnia will both be used as locations to shoot the movie. Can’t wait! |

During the interview, which airs today (September 23), Kelly revealed the break-up has been one of the hardest things she’s had to deal with. “I’m not over it. And for a while I thought, a small part of me wanted to still be with him but it’s not right,” she told Ellen. “We weren’t happy anymore.” Kelly and Luke separated in July after reports surfaced about his alleged infidelity.
