The 35-year-old actress, who is wearing a Ferragamo coat, is currently working on her directorial debut on a film about a Serbian man and a Bosnian woman on the eve of the Balkan conflict. In October, the film hit some controversy when the Bosnian minister canceled the filming permit. “There’s one person who has a gripe,” Angelina, who also wrote the screenplay, told Reuters. “The absolute majority of the people, population, the cast, prime minister, president have been extremely supportive.”

| Madonna Launches Hard Candy Fitness Center Posted: 02 Dec 2010 04:40 AM PST  Madonna launches her first gym, Hard Candy Fitness Center on Monday (November 29) in Mexico City, Mexico. The 52-year-old pop icon opened up the 30,000 square foot space in Mexico City, which focuses on music, dance lighting and design. She said Mexico City was chosen “as a place to fine-tune our brand and then expand it to other countries and, in the long term, develop a global brand that includes the United States.” There are plans to roll out more branches in major cities around the world in the next year. Madonna also gave a 45-minute gym and dance lesson to around 20 club members. The club’s slogan is, “Harder Is Better.”

The 30-year-old actor will star in Brain Trust, the story of a “disgraced police detective Billy Doyle (Sweeney) whose work is helped and hindered by a brilliant, strange and lovable trio of uber-geeks from a local think tank: Professor Nelson Kirby (Jed Rees), Professor Franklin Gordon (Urie) and Professor Monica Ashton (Lindy Booth),” according to Deadline. Michael also has a off-Broadway run coming up early next year, when he’ll star in Angels in America for five weeks. |
