DreamWorks is setting up a new project for Alex Pettyfer!

The 20-year-old British actor will star as the title character in a film adaptation of Tom Rubython’s book Shunt: The Story of James Hunt.

James Hunt is a British racing driver who took home a win at the Formula One World Championships back in the 1970s and helped cultivate interest in the sport for England.

Alex will hit the big screen next year in I Am Number Four and Beastly.

Newly single Zac Efron has become “chummy” with his The Lucky One co-star, Taylor Schilling, according to a production source.

The 23-year-old actor recently called it quits with longtime girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens and insisted that there was no third party involved, but a source tells E! that Zac has been “leaning on [his] good friend Taylor” during the tough time.

“They joke around, eat together sometimes, run lines,” the source said. “Nothing out of the ordinary.”

The 29-year-old heiress now co-owns a team in the 2011 Moto 125cc grand prix series. The team will operate in partnership with a Barcelona-based team, By Queroseno Racing (BQR).

Paris unveiled a pink, white and blue livery for the 125cc Aprilia RSA motorcycles that Sergio Gadea and Maverick Viñales will race in 2011. She says she plans to attend as many races as possible next season.

Nicole Richie is all smiles after having dinner with some friends at Casa Vega on Monday (December 20) in Studio City, Calif.

The 29-year-old designer revealed why she and husband Joel Madden, 31, incorporated a real elephant in their wedding ceremony last Saturday (December 21).

The animal was brought in for good luck and Nicole wore a gorgeous Marchesa gown inspired by Grace Kelly’s iconic wedding dress - two things she always wanted for her big day, People reports.

“It was magical,” Nicole told the magazine about their wedding. “It was the best night of my life,” added Joel.

Kim Kardashian gets into the holiday spirit at the Y100 Jingle Ball on Saturday (December 11) in Miami, Fla.

The 30-year-old socialite took time out to chat about holiday traditions, what she wants for Christmas, and snail poisoning. Check it out:

JJ: What was the best gift you got growing up during the holiday season?

KK: I have to say, I was super emotional as a kid — just like a normal kid. Probably a puppy when I was really little when Kourtney and I were so different. Valentina was its name, but then she died two weeks later because she had snail poisoning.

JJ: What? How’d she get snail poisoning?

KK: I don’t know, snail poisoning - you know when snails leave a little trail? She got super excited and ate it and died. But I was super excited and emotional and Kourtney would come down and wouldn’t care and she didn’t really care that it was Christmas while I was like, “Oh my God! I got a puppy!” We were so different for my mom it was so weird, especially Kourtney because she was so not emotional and she thought that that’s how all kids were going to turn out to be because Kourtney never just cared. But I love Christmas, it’s our family’s favorite holiday.

JJ: Is there a gift that you wanted as a kid that you didn’t get?

KK: It seems that all the gifts that I wanted - I don’t remember what it was, but it seemed like Kourtney would get what I wanted. One year I got a fish tank and she got what I wanted and I was devastated, and I remember I ran up crying and I yelled, “I get a fish tank and Kourtney gets to get what I wanted?!” I was such a brat!

JJ: What was that gift?

KK: I don’t know! That’s what’s funny!

JJ: What are you looking forward to getting under the Christmas tree this year?

KK: This year? I don’t really care, it’s weird. Maybe a little time off? A little vacation?

JJ: Where would you want to go and what would you do?

KK: I like to go to different places, obviously someplace tropical. I might go someplace really snowy this year too, right after holidays; I don’t know, I haven’t skied in a long time. But I like a good tropical vacation, either or - I’ll take it.

JJ: Do you have any favorite holiday family traditions?

KK: Every Christmas Eve we have a Christmas Eve party, after my grandma would give everyone in the family a set of pajamas that are some holiday theme - like flannel pajamas. We have to wear them to bed and have to be at my mom’s house at 6 am, no later. Then we go crazy opening gifts all wearing the pajamas all day.

JJ: If you were to design an ugly Christmas sweater, what would you put on it?

KK: I would put big diamond shapes and over it I’ll make it a big bling sweater. I’ll probably make the ugly sweater better because I do have a bunch of reindeer-snowmen ones that aren’t so cute.

Darren’s Glee family - creator Ryan Murphy and co-stars Matthew Morrison and Max Adler - came out to support him!

In the spirit of the holidays, concertgoers helped fill 15 large bags full of toys for Toys for Tots and in return received a signed photo from Darren.

Darren is also using a portion of the ticket sales to purchase more toys!

Jane Lynch Talks Coming Out, Raising Kids with 'Newsweek'

Jane Lynch sits down with sex-advice columnist and “It Gets Better” campaign creator Dan Savage for an interview with Newsweek.

Here’s what the two had to share with the magazine:

On whether they’re surprised gay rights still has so many battles:
Jane: Yes, we thought the great hope of [President] Obama was going to magically change all that, and it doesn't seem to have…
Dan: …had the intended effect.
Jane: He's just nicely walking the middle.

Jane on when she came out: “I had two coming outs. I came out when I was about 21, and then I came out to my family when I was 32. By the time I was 32 they were like, ‘Well, we knew there was something. We're glad to know what it is, now let's move on.’ Had I told them when I was 18 it would have been a different story, because there was nobody openly homosexual. I thought it was a disease. I remember hearing the word ‘gay’ and thinking, ‘Oh, my God, I have that.’”

On the challenges they face as parents:
Jane: We have the same challenges straight families have.
Dan: There's no gay way to change diapers.
Jane: But I think there can be a responsibility to fold in other adults. I was looking around today, and we have three female cats, we have a female dog, and then we have the three of us. And I was like, we've gotta get a guy in here!
Dan: Or at least a testosterone-soaked air freshener.

The 43-year-old actress dropped by and talked to thirty young people who would be spending the holidays in the hospital’s care.

'Spider-Man' Actor Injured After Fall

Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark has hit another setback after an actor in the production was injured in a fall on Monday night (December 20).

“Theatergoers…said they saw a performer playing the title hero fall about 8 to 10 feet into a pit during the closing minutes of the show, and that some equipment fell into the audience when this occurred,” the New York Times reports.

A spokeswoman for the show confirmed that the injured actor was not Reeve Carney but did not otherwise identify the performer who was injured in the fall.

Spider-Man recently delayed its official opening to February 7 to accommodate creative changes.

Video of the 24-year-old Glee star recently surfaced, showing Lea at age 12 chatting with an MTV documentary crew about her life as a young Broadway actress.

“I have my friends that said, ‘Wow, you’re on Broadway,’ which I hate to be treated that way. That, I think, has been the worst part in the theatrical business,” she says in the video.

“Being in the business has kind of made me grow up so fast,” she adds. “Everyone says, you’re so mature. I can do anything! And that’s how I kind of, you know, stay sane in this really tough, dog-eat-dog business”

Prince William and his fiancee Kate Middleton are featured on the Royal Mint’s new commemorative coin celebrating their engagement!

“We are delighted to showcase this new coin. The special betrothal design has been approved by Prince William and Her Majesty The Queen,” a spokesman for the Royal Mint told Us Weekly.

Approximately 50,000 of the £5 (valued at about $7.75) coins have been created and can be pre-ordered at RoyalMint.com.

Aaron Eckhart: Nicole Kidman Was 'Irritated With Me'

Aaron Eckhart shares a laugh with Conan O’Brien on his late-night talk show Conan on Monday (December 20).

The 42-year-old actor was on the show to chat about his new film Rabbit Hole.

Aaron recently revealed that there were days he and co-star Nicole Kidman didn’t always get along at work, especially while filming an intense scene where their characters argue.

“She was irritated with me and I was irritated with her but that’s the way movie-making is,” he told E! Online.

“For one day, are we not allowed? For half a day even? It’s so surprising to me when people are surprised that movie making is sometimes tense and uncomfortable because inherently it’s going to be,” he added.

JS: I was really into Micro Machines. I had all of them - I loved those.

JJ: Is there something as a kid you wanted, but never got?

JS: You know what? Mom and dad were really cool, they got me some cool stuff. They wouldn’t let me skateboard though because they thought I was going to break a leg. To this day I can’t ice skate, rollerblade, or ski because of this.

JS: Gadgets. I’m a gadget freak. I’ve got any new gadgets out in the market right now. I’ve seen that the Blackberry Playbook is about to come out - I want that. I think I need that in my life, even though I have the iPad, you just need it!

JJ: Are you on the naughty or nice list this year?

JS: Always nice man, c’mon!

JJ: Do you have any favorite family traditions?

JS: The thing about my family on Christmas is that my family is like the family you see on My Big Fat Greek Wedding or The Nutty Professor - just tons of people, that’s how my family is. So there’s like 50 or 60 of us together in our house, we go 3 days Christmas Eve, Christmas day, and afterwards — we just go crazy.

JJ: Do you have a favorite Christmas carol?

JS: Yes - “White Christmas”. That’s not even a carol, is it? But I like it - that’s my favorite song.

JJ: If you could design the ugliest Christmas sweater, what would you put on it?

JS: I just thought of something really bad. Someone’s face. I think it would be someone’s face, but I can’t say her name. Let’s leave it there.

Chris Brown: I'm Done With Domestic Violence Class

Chris Brown has completed a court-ordered 52-week domestic violence course and he’s proudly showing off the certificate.

“I’m done with class,” the 21-year-old singer tweeted on Monday (December 20), along with a photo of the signed certificate of completion.

Last year, Chris pleaded guilty to assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in February 2009.

As part of the plea deal, he received five years probation and 180 days of community service.
