The 40-year-old singer and host of the upcoming People’s Choice Awards, shared a few life lessons in the latest issue. Where she hopes to be in 10 years: “On cruise control, with a couple of kids under my belt,” Queen Latifah shared. “It's in the Lord's hands." On growing up in Jersey: “There's something about growing up in New Jersey that prepares you for whatever you might encounter around the world. We're not afraid to go places. I met Mike 'The Situation' [from Jersey Shore] because we were both on Jay Leno. He lives maybe 15 minutes from me. He was like, 'If you ever get a flat tire, call me and I'll hook you up.' Rick has praised Nicki’s verse by saying, “That was the day Nicki Minaj earned my respect as a lyricist. Posted: 30 Dec 2010 08:50 AM PST  Ben McKenzie suits up with his Southland co-stars Michael Cudlitz, Regina King, and Shawn Hatosy in this behind-the-scenes shot from TV Guide’s latest issue. “We spend an awful lot of time together,” Ben, 32, tells the magazine, adding that he’s glad “the guy who gets to act like an a–hole is actually really nice.” The third season of the TNT drama premieres on Tuesday (January 4) at 10 p.m. and “will focus less on the characters at home and more on their time on the job,” according to TV Guide. Ben’s character also starts to finally gets concerned about Officer John Cooper’s (Cudlitz) addiction to painkillers. “We’re still getting to know these people, and I think there’s going to be a lot of surprises,” said Michael.
