The 24-year-old Roommate actress chatted about being pulled onstage during a Prince concert last month! “I don’t feel like I can go again after I got serenaded,” Leighton said, adding that it was her very first Prince concert. “I couldn’t even hold my cup afterward - I was breathing heavily,” Leight said. “I was wearing rain boots - I was not ready at all! Here’s what the 36-year-old Office actress had to share: On pressure to stay in shape: “In a normal job, if you gain or lose a few pounds, it’s no big deal. But in my business you have to tell someone so that the next time you go to a fitting, the clothes are the right size. It’s really embarrassing to have to say to your manager, ‘I’m now a 6 pant instead of a 4.’ Emails go out, and they cc the agents: ‘Jenna would like everyone to know that she’s now a 6 pant.’ This is why actresses obsess about their weight. It’s not a private affair.” On whether her idea of “The One” has changed: “In a way, yes. After my divorce, someone said to me, ‘Finding love is not as hard as picking the right person to spend the rest of your life with.’ It was Paul Lieberstein, the executive producer of The Office; he also plays Toby on the show. I held on to that advice when I was searching. I’d start to fall for someone and think, But that’s not a good match. The fluttery feelings aren’t enough. When I was younger, I thought you married the person you fell in love with the most. But as [my ex-husband and I] learned what we wanted, I realized there was a whole other set of criteria. You have to ask, Do we have the same goals?” On dating after her divorce: “I thought I’d go wild with freedom, but instead I pretty much did what I did in college - stay home with my cat [laughs]. I didn’t want to waste time flitting around. I remember going out with one cute and funny guy. I thought, We could have a really fun eight months, but that’s eight months I’m taking away from finding Mr. Right. I can’t afford that. So I ended it. In the midst of all that, I was having weekly script dinners with Lee, and I realized, I’m looking at basically the perfect man. It doesn’t get better than this.” On being an aunt to her niece, Cecelia: “I already wanted kids, but even more so now. When Cecelia was 3 weeks old, Pam was on maternity leave, so I had a whole week off to spend with her. I took charge of the night feedings. | Farrah Fawcett's Iconic Swimsuit Donated to Smithsonian Posted: 02 Feb 2011 08:30 AM PST  A handful of Farrah Fawcett’s personal items, including the red swimsuit from her iconic 1976 poster, will now be housed at Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. In a special ceremony on Tuesday (February 2), the late actress’s birthday, actor Ryan O’Neal and Farrah’s nephew, Greg Walls, donated the swimsuit along with the original copy of the poster, her personal Charlie’s Angels script book, an original 1977 Farrah Fawcett doll, and a “Farrah Phenomenon” 1976 edition of TV Guide. "It's an honor to see Farrah's famous red bathing suit donated to the Smithsonian Institution, celebrating her place in pop culture," said Ryan. "The swimsuit is exactly where it belongs, and I know Farrah is looking down on us today flashing that big smile that we all loved." Also included in the collection, which goes on display later this summer in the museum’s Division of Culture and the Arts: a Charlie’s Angels 1976 edition of Time, a “Farrah’s Glamour Center” hairstyling doll, and a Farrah Fawcett swimsuit jigsaw puzzle. |
