Hugh Jackman spends some quality time with his daughter Ava in NYC’s West Village on Friday (January 28).

The 42-year-old Aussie actor played in the snow and brought along the family’s adorable French bulldog Peaches.

Looks like Ava had some fun petting another pooch and playing in the snow!

The day before, Hugh, who’s presenting at this year’s Oscars, worked on his fitness with a trip to the gym.

Barbra Streisand and Seth Rogen are teaming up for the road-trip comedy My Mother’s Curse.

The two will play mom and son and will both also executive produce the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Synopsis: An inventor (Rogen) invites his mother on a cross-country trip as he tries to sell his new product while also reuniting her with a lost love.

The Proposal’s Anne Fletcher will direct the film, which is expected to start filming in the spring.

The 30-year-old actor brought along his wife Jenna Dewan and met up with co-stars Ray Liotta and Katie Holmes at the event.

Before arriving at the film festival, Channing and Jenna, also 30, enjoyed a romantic weekend in Chicago.

The couple attended a friend’s wedding and when they weren’t holed up in the penthouse at the James Hotel, “they had fun celebrating,” a source told People.

Natalie Portman covers her face from the chilly weather while going to lunch with fiance Benjamin Millepied on Friday (January 28) in New York City.

Earlier this week, the couple took her dog Whiz out for a walk on the snowy streets of Manhattan.

Details about Natalie’s engagement ring were also recently revealed.

Benjamin designed the custom handmade sparkler along with jewelery designer Jamie Wolf and with Natalie’s ecofriendly and vegan ideals in mind.

“The stone is an antique (round old mine cut diamond), the pave diamonds are certified as conflict-free, meaning no one was hurt or treated unfairly in the mining of the diamonds, and the platinum is recycled metal,” InStyle reports.

“Ben was exceptionally thoughtful and dedicated and patient to make sure we had everything right,” Jamie told the mag.

Katie Holmes hits the premiere of her new film, The Son of No One, during the 2011 Sundance Film Festival at the Eccles Center Theatre on Friday (January 28) in Park City, Utah.

The 32-year-old actress met up with co-star Channing Tatum and his wife, Jenna Dewan, at the event and the private after-party at Silver.

Katie is reportedly “very upset” over false reports that people walked out of the drama’s first screening.

“There wasn’t a mass exodus. The people who did see it, liked the film,” said The Son of No One producer Cassian Elwes.

“We’ve already received three offers on the film. We’re 100 percent behind [Katie] and the entire cast’s performances in this film. She loves the film and she’s great in it. She’s very upset by this attack,” he added.

Showbiz 411 also reiterated that “no one walked out of the film. There was no exodus, no running for the doors. No ‘collective groan.’”

Britney Spears still-untitled LP is set to be released March 15, a label rep confirms to MTV News.

The 29-year-old pop princess’ seventh studio album will feature tracks from super producers Max Martin and Dr. Luke, among others, along with three or four additional tracks.

Choreographer Brian Friedman recently teased what fans can expect from Brit’s “Hold It Against Me” video.

“She’s taking fashion risks. Things we’ve never seen her wear before she’s wearing in this video, and I think it’s just very sexy and it’s a little bit playful,” Brian told MTV News.

“She’s going to be doing something in this video that we’ve never seen her do. I’m not gonna tell you what that is but she’s going to be sweating and she’s going to be getting bruised and battered,” he added.

Charlie Sheen has checked into rehab a day after being hospitalized for severe abdominal pain.

The 45-year-old actor “voluntarily entered an undisclosed rehabilitation center today. He is most grateful to all who have expressed their concern,” his rep said on Friday (January 28).

Charlie’s show, Two and a Half Men, will go on hiatus due to his decision to check into rehab.

“We are profoundly concerned for his health and well-being, and support his decision,” CBS, Warner Bros. Television, and the show’s executive producer Chuck Lorre. said in a statement.

Charlie previously headed to rehab back in February 2010.
