The Seth Rogen and Cameron Diaz superhero film brought in $34 million and is projected to finish near $40.5 million with the long weekend ahead. Taking second place was The Dilemma, with $17.4 million and a projected finish of $20.6 million for the holiday weekend. True Grit, The King’s Speech, and Black Swan rounded out the top five. Inside the swank affair, Dave rubbed shoulders with model Laura Love, who is the daughter of Lisa Love, the Senior West Coast Editor of Vogue and Teen Vogue. He later took the party to The Roosevelt Hotel's hot new club The Spare Room, which features two bowling lanes and board games for guests to play. Mad Men’s Jon Hamm, Malin Akerman, and Scott Caan were also spotted there hanging with friends. James will be at the Golden Globes later today. The 32-year-old 127 Hours star received the “Spirit of Elysium” Award at the bash for his involvement with the organization. “I wanted a place where I could give back. I didn’t know what I could give but I wanted to give back,” he said during his acceptance speech, adding that pal Kirsten Dunst introduced him to The Art of Elysium. “I started volunteering at All Saints Hospital. Art of Elysium really saved my life. There’s nothing better than giving back,” he added. At the end of his speech, James gave Kirsten, who won the same award last year, a kiss on the cheek.
