Posted: 26 Jan 2011 11:20 AM PST  Amy Poehler takes her adorable 2-year-old son Archie to go shopping at Tom’s Toys on Tuesday (January 25) in Beverly Hills, Calif. The 39-year-old Parks and Recreation star recently chatted with the New York Times about her NBC comedy, which returned for its third season last Thursday night. Asked how much of the show is scripted and improvised, Amy said, “Because we shoot in a mockumentary style everyone's on camera all the time. | Shiloh Fernandez Talks Missing Out on 'Twilight' Role Posted: 26 Jan 2011 10:50 AM PST  Shiloh Fernandez shows off his toned torso in an unbuttoned shirt in this spread for Vman magazine’s latest issue, on newsstands on Thursday (February 10). Here’s what the 25-year-old Red Riding Hood actor had to share: On missing out on the role of Edward Cullen: “No one had any idea what Twilight would become. At the time, it was just another audition. I didn’t realize I was missing out on stardom and giant paychecks. Now, looking back on it, I certainly wouldn’t have been mentally stable enough to deal with all that. Lucky for me, not getting that part led to other work that was a much better fit for me.” On his experience working on Red Riding Hood: “To be given this great part with this very complicated backstory is such a learning experience. And [director Catherine Hardwicke] has created this world that’s so detailed and so beautiful. I loved being a part of it.” On his ultimate aspirations: “I want to work and I want to become the best actor that I can be. But I also want to be a happy, interesting person. It’s hard to be an interesting person if you spend all your time on a set. That isn’t the real world. You’ve got to have a good life outside of all that. | Glee's Ryan Murphy Lashes Out at Kings of Leon Posted: 26 Jan 2011 02:20 AM PST  Glee stars Chris Colfer, Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch join creator Ryan Murphy and 20th Century Fox Television chairmen Gary Newman and Dana Walden on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter’s current issue, on newsstands Thursday. Ryan chatted about the business side of the hit show and dished on why fans will never hear songs from certain artists. Here’s what he had to share with the mag: On Eminem: "We went after 'Lose Yourself,' and it was jaw droppingly expensive. Around $200,000. We couldn't On Kings of Leon, who famously rejected Glee: “F— you, Kings of Leon. They're self-centered a–holes, and they missed the big picture. They missed that a 7-year-old kid can see someone close to their age singing a Kings of Leon song, which will maybe make them want to join a glee club or pick up a musical instrument. It's like, OK, hate on arts education. You can make fun of Glee all you want, but at its heart, what we really do is turn kids on to music.” (FYI: KOL released this statement to THR: “This whole Glee thing is a shock to us. Katie will soon be hopping back on a plane to fly to Park City, Utah, to premiere her drama, The Son of No One, at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. One report claimed that people walked out of the film’s first screening, but Cassian Elwes, who’s selling its distribution rights, blamed the exits on a mistake by a projectionist. “About a month ago, [director] Dito [Montiel] decided to add a card, two scenes before the end of the film, that says, ‘Based on the book, Story of Milk.’ That is the character’s name in the film.
