Baldwin Likely to Return Next Season

William Baldwin has claimed that he is likely to return to Gossip Girl in the future.
The 47-year-old actor recently filmed a multi-episode stint on the teen drama in the role of Serena’s estranged father William van der Woodsen.
“If I were a betting man, it would make sense for something to happen next season,” he told Entertainment Weekly. “It feels like they’re going to want to bring William back.”
He also revealed that he was originally approached for another part in the show, but he declined because the appearance was too short.
“It was only for one episode. So I told them to come up with something [bigger].”
Gossip Girl returns Monday, March 8 at 9pm on The CW in the US and Wednesday, March 10 at 9pm on ITV2 in the UK.
