Maurice Brighthaupt was Anna Nicole Smith's long time body guard, and a witness to madness. According to Brighthaupt Smith was obsessed with pills. These were readily supplied by enablers, like business partner and companion Howard K Stern, and her psychiatrist Dr Khristine Eroshevich. The pills would also lead directly to Anna Nicole Smith's death.
Brighthaupt had to testify recently regarding events concerning the death of Smith. Brighthaupt reveled a scene of chaos in the Bahamas in the days following the death of Anna Nicole's son and the birth of her daughter. For one thing Brighthaupt says he saw Stern on at least one occasion holding Anna Nicole's head up so she could get her daily dose of whatever into her. If he wasn't actually forcing the pills into the almost unconscious Anna Nicole then he was helping with 'extreme prejudice'. On other occasions when concern was expressed about Anna Nicole mixing booze and pills he'd reply "She can handle it."
Nor was Stern the only one looking rough. Psychaitrist Khristine Eroshevich treated Anna Nicole. However the treatment is becoming to look more like thin disguised drug supplying. It was a pattern that Eroshevich was unable to break despite being the doctor in the arrangement.
For instance Eroshevich became concerned after prescribing some chlorohydrate for Smith. It's a powerful sleeping med that Anna Nicole was known to swallow like candy and wash down with hard liquor. According to Brighthaupt's testimony Eroshevich became concerned about Anna Nicole's drug dependency after prescribing her chlorohydrate, and wanted to get the pills back from her. Chlorohydrate was one of the 9 prescription meds believed to have caused the former model's death, & found in her body by the autopsy.
