'Megamind' Tops Box Office For Second Week

Megamind has taken the top spot at the box office for the second week in a row!

The DreamWorks animated film earned $26 million at the box office for a cumulative total of $88 million, according to Deadline.

Second place went to Chris Pine and Denzel Washington’s Unstoppable, which brought in $23.5 million.

Due Date took third place, with a weekend total of $16 million and cumulative earnings of just under $60 million.

Rounding out the top five were Skyline with 12 million and Morning Glory, with $12 million.

The 22-year-old “Only Girl (In The World)” singer posed for photos with some young fans before heading to one of her favorite restaurants, Da Silvano, for dinner.

Nicki Minaj recently posted her thoughts on “Fly,” her collaboration with Ri.

“FLY is one of my absolute faves. I wanted to work with Rihanna for a long time. I’m very proud of her accomplishments ; especially since she was born on an island like me :),” Nicki wrote. “This song is a female empowerment song. But then again, its not specific to just women. It speaks about flying, soaring high in the face of …every single solitary adversity that comes your way.

Cate Blanchett joins co-star Hugo Weaving at the opening night of their new play Uncle Vanya at Australia’s Sydney Theatre on Saturday (November 13).

The play was written by Russian playwright Anton Chekhov and adapted by Cate’s husband Andrew Upton. It’s about a country doctor who loves but cannot have a professor’s wife.

Jess, 30, said yes when Eric proposed on Thursday (November 11). The 30-year-old singer and her former NFL player beau began dating back in May.

Earlier in the week, Jessica’s ex-husband, Nick Lachey, announced his engagement to girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo.

The 29-year-old singer will be releasing his fifth studio album on November 15th, entitled Illuminations. For this album Josh worked with veteran producer Rick Rubin, known for his critically acclaimed work with Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Johnny Cash, and Dixie Chicks among many others.

Josh co-wrote the majority of the songs including “Hidden Away,” which was recorded live with him singing and playing the piano.

Check out the new video from Irish rockers The Script for their new single “For the First Time.”

The single is off their new album, Science & Faith, which will be released in the United States on January 18th.

The female in the video is actually U2 frontman Bono’s daughter, Eve Hewson!

“We were looking for a girl and we heard about her having just done a movie with Sean Penn and we took a look at the reel,” said The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue. “She was perfect, quite young and had gone to America. She just fit the bill.”

The 24-year-old actress moved into the sober house as part of her program at the Betty Ford Clinic, her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, recently explained.

Earlier this week, Lindsay’s mom Dina said her daughter’s latest stint in rehab “has really changed her.”

“We take it one day at a time. Addiction is difficult. I don’t know. I don’t have a crystal ball,” she said on the Today show. “[But] we can only be positive and look to the future to help other families.”
