The 29-year-old singer and actress, who showed off her new slimmed down figure, also hit the stage to perform. The Happy Hearts Fund’s mission is to improve children’s lives after natural disasters. Petra Nemcova also came out to support the event. | Natalie Portman: Can I Get A Medic? Posted: 23 Nov 2010 11:10 AM PST  Natalie Portman leaves The Late Show with David Letterman after her appearance on Monday (November 22) in New York City. The 29-year-old told David Letterman about how she was injured while filming Black Swan. “I injured a rib, I like dislocated a rib, it sort of went under another one…when you get lifted it just sort of went under,” she said. “It’s funny because when I got injured I called the producer, I was like ‘Could you get the medic? I need an ice pack or something right now or Advil’ and he was like, ‘Oh, we don’t have a medic because it's super low budget,’ Natalie said. ‘I have been working for like twenty years, I don’t even think that’s legal. I was like before you take away a medic, take away my trailer…and the next day I didn’t have a trailer, I swear to God!’”
