Kristen Stewart has traded in her Converse sneakers and adorable hoodies for a ruby-red, high-neck Proenza Schouler gown with an up to there slit!
As if that's not enough, she added Proenza Schouler triple buckle stilettos, Fred Leighton jewels and a short 'do for fashion's biggest event, tonight's Met Costume Institute Gala in New York City.
And we are loving it! So bold. So Fresh. Brava!
But who (or whom, shall we say) did K.Stew bring as her dates?

Sorry kids, despite that other recent PDA-fest in NYC, not Robert Pattinson.
K.Stew instead brought her fashion-forward friends, the design duo behind her Proenza Schouler look, Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough as her lucky escorts.
As @voguemagazine tweeted, "Kristen Stewart with the Proenza Schouler boys, she was fixing their bow ties right before walking the red carpet."
The mag also tweeted out the first images of K.Stew, in red, hitting the red carpet.
Stewart's usual glam squad, hair by Adir Abergel and makeup by Beau Nelson, came to her rescue in NYC to prep the starlet for the red carpet event, hosted by Vogue's Anna Wintour at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Beau revealed he used lots of CoverGirl black liquid eyeliner and a pale lip on our girl, while Adir worked Kristen's short tresses back away from her face in a low bun.
Another Twilighter looking gorge: Ashley Greene, in a beige and silver sequined DKNY modern princess gown.
You go, girls!
But who cares about fashion's prom when you have R.Pattz as the ultimate date waiting at home, right?
