I want a new enclosure AND merom. Somehow fit a DL superdrive in there.
i'd like to see some new enclosures, too. a DL superdrive might be pushing it...
i'm sure there's more to it than a revised spotlight, improved file sync'ing and virtual desktops. this is apple we're talking about. let's get realistic about our expectations while remembering this is a developer's conference and not a consumer product showcase.

Yeah that would be so nice to have SLI 460 on one card. It's a very good card in SLI anyways. I only purchased the 768mb versions, the 460x2 comes with 2gb.

While many will disagree with my point of view, I think this is just more evidence that Apple and Google with be the 2 major players duking it out. The one that should really worry here is not Apple but RIM. On the bright side, this will just force both iOS and Android to get better and better as they compete with each other. Both platforms have come a long way I can't way for the next smackdown! Now on with the endless forum wars! Let's the the usual blood I have come to know and love in Macrumors! :D

I watched it yesterday, but it was off can on.
Phil is a really nice guy and I like him, but I don't like him as a presenter. I was SJ did the whole thing. However I don't think he was ready, and that have the other 3 help were a last minute thing which is why they were all kind of off.
Haveing that french guy talking about vista was a really bad choise. I could not understand what he was saying.
I also did not like it when Jobs was reading what to do.
Hopefully Paris will make up for these things.

Having spent 5 weeks at Christ Church for a study abroad program, I would have loved an Apple store in Oxford. But as it was, a trip into London took about 40 minutes. You could get to the Apple stores there in less than an hour.
Whereas here in Texas, even though Dallas is only a little further from where I live than Oxford is from London, it takes at least 2 and half hours to drive there--more with traffic....God I wish we had a train system like yours....
In any case, in the last three years, 5 of my friends have gotten Macs....So it is spreading...
Hey I studied at Princeton and it was a pretty impressive place. However, when i was there macintosh was a foreign word. That was only a few years ago.
What bugs me is that I am now at Oxford, which by the way is number two or three in the world, that Macs are under represented. In fact there is no store, virtual or otherwise in the whole of Oxford!!!!!:confused: How smart is that????:eek:
How about a nice big juicy shop on High Street!!!!! Or even next to the Bodleian!!!

THe disparity between the folks who say I am considering it and those who actually get one may be the initial sticker shock. They do not look at the entire package they are getting versus the laptop or desktop is how much??? not realizing that they get alot more out of the box than they do with the PC alternative.
