Chace Crawford Interview — JustJared.com Sundance Exclusive

Chace Crawford attends the premiere of his new movie, Twelve, at the Eccles Theatre during the 2010 Sundance Film Festival on Friday night (January 29) in Park City, Utah. Here’s what the 24-year-old Gossip Girl actor shared with JustJared.com on the red carpet:

JJ: How has Sundance been for you?

CC: It’s been good! I wish I could stay the whole week. Park City’s phenomenal. I snowboard, ski and snowmobile, so it’d be nice to stay out here. But I gotta get back [to Gossip Girl]!

JJ: Can you share one funny behind-the-scenes story from shooting Twelve?

CC: [SPOILER ALERT]

Well, I get shot by 50 Cent by the end of the movie, and I was kind of excited about it. I was thrilled that it was just happening – I’m coordinating with the stunt guys to make sure everything’s going well, I guess I was a little enthusiastic about it and 50 turned to this girl who was there and goes, “Sh–, Chace never done been shot before, has he?” [laughs] I cracked up for days!”

JJ: What’s your favorite prop from the set?

CC: The wardrobe girl picked up the shell – the cap that 50 Cent shot me with – just for fun, so I saved that! It’s in my bedroom somewhere. That was the only thing I kept. And I kept the boots.

Good news for Chace! The film division of book publisher Hannover House purchased Twelve for $2 million, which means the movie should be distributed nationwide soon!
