Microsoft releases worldwide telescope

After Google released it's Google Sky in August 2007, it seems that Microsoft now decided finally to release a similar Application name Worldwide Telescope, to compete with Google, but the question is does this new program stand for the competition ?

About Google Sky and Worldwide Telescope

Both of these programs let user view the outer space, and this by letting user zoom through images taken from Hubble space telescope and other telescopes, but Microsoft's Worldwide telescope offers documentaries, videos and researches about outer space, but Google Sky is much smaller and faster in loading, and also both of them were put on the web.

After you have visited them you would have a slight idea of differences between these two Applications, but could Microsoft actually stand up for this competition and maybe defeat Google Sky, well, in my opinion never! , for after years of Google developing Google Earth and Maps, which show great technology in zooming through images and maps, Microsoft defeating all this with no serious updates, but using the same outer space images and maps, will be one almost-impossible task, but who knows ? dreams like this may actually happen!
